MadCity Tennis Tournaments are run by long-time WIAA high school tennis coach Ryan Reischel. Ryan coached High School Varsity tennis from 2000 - 2022 at Stoughton, Sun Prairie, and Madison West. Ryan is dedicated to giving all youth and adults the opportunity to play in his leagues and tournaments, regardless of ability to pay. Here is what you need to know about all of the Summer Tennis Tournaments:
1. All of the Tournaments are at Sun Prairie West High School 2850 Ironwood Dr., Sun Prairie, WI 53590. Some matches may be played at Central Heights Upper Middle School if the tournament get large.
2. Youth flights will play on Friday and Saturday.
3. Adult flights will play on Saturday and Sunday.
4. You may play in up to two flights in each tournament.
5. All players will play a minimum of 3 matches in each flight they register for in each tournament.
6. Each player will receive a t-shirt at each tournament.
7. Trophies for the Winners of each flight....and prizes for the Runner-ups in each flight.
8. Everyone must turn in one can of NEW AND UNOPENED BALLS to the scorer's table for each flight that they are registered. If you are playing two flights, you must bring two cans.
9. Match Format
JV Matches will play an 8-Game Pro-Set with No-AD scoring
Varsity Matches will play the best 2 out of 3 sets (6 game sets) with No-AD scoring. If you split sets, you will play a match tiebreak (up to 10 points) in lieu of the 3rd set.
Adults will play the best 2 out of 3 sets with No-Ad scoring. If you split sets, you will play a match tiebreak (up to 10 points) in lieu of the 3rd set. Adult doubles matches will use the Kohman tiebreak procedure. (Switch ends after 1st point, 5th point, 9th point, 13th point, 17 point, etc.)
10. No coaching from parents/friends/spectators. Violation of this rule will result in an immediate default.
111. Unsportsmanlike conduct (Swearing/Throwing racket, etc.) will be enforced per USTA Code of Conduct: 1st offense = loss of point, 2nd offense = loss of game, 3rd offense = Default from Tournament. These violations are cumulative throughout the tournament.
We will be doing a 50/50 raffle to benefit Sun Prairie Tennis.

$1 = 1 ticket
$5 = 6 tickets
$10 = 40 tickets
Water and Gatorade will be available for purchase at the scorer's table. Waters are $1 and Gatorades are $2.
